Multiblocks (3D)

A multiblock is a machine made of several blocks. Rotate this one, change layers, explode it: everything is here before you place a single block.

What you need

Thermal GeneratorQuantum Storage1 × Thermal Generator (the core)
5BricksMinecraft5 × Bricks
6Block of IronMinecraft6 × Block of Iron

The core is made from vanilla items: see its recipe →

Layer by layer

Seen from above, from the bottom layer to the top one. The top of each grid is the front of the machine (the north side when the core faces north): the structure turns with the core.

Building it

  1. 1Place the core: it is the middle block of the front row, in the bottom layer. The structure turns with it.
  2. 2Build the rest following the grids: bricks at the bottom, blocks of iron above.
  3. 3Right-click the core. If the structure is complete, it forms.
  4. 4If not, a message tells you how many blocks are missing or to replace, and a hologram shows where.
Once formedThe blocks of the structure become invisible and the full model appears in their place (the chimney rises above the top layer). When the structure is undone, the blocks come back. Hoppers and ports can fill the generator through any block of the structure.

Using the generator: fuel, destination, heat →

Output: 60 FE/t.
